The Y-haplogroup J database

yJdb is a database of user-submitted and published records comprising of ancestral information, microsatellite (STR) values, and unique event polymorphism (UEP) values. It contains information about men who belong to Y-chromosome haplogroup J. If you have been confirmed of belonging in haplogroup J via a UEP test (e.g., M304+, or 12f2.1+, or M172+, or any other markers downstream from M304/12f2.1), then you should consider entering your information in the database. Participation in yJdb is voluntary and no warranty is given for the accuracy of the information, which is provided for research and educational purposes.

There are currently 1150 records in the database.

yJdb follows the ybase nomenclature when reporting allele values.
